I thought I am too occupied with her thoughts when I know what future holds for me. I picked the phone twice to call her but something stopped me. I took up my bike to buy some old books. Her thoughts were pouring in with simmering pace even when I was stuck in the crawling traffics of Nai Sadak (Old Delhi)
My ears were by then desperate to hear the ring tone that I especially set for her.I was feeling butterflies in my stomach when she said she wanted to meet me today.
In the evening, I was at M2K, waiting for her to come. In the meanwhile, I lit up a cigarette to lower down the thrill, which I was feeling down up to my spines. With cigarette, I bought some Centre Fresh and that brought a little smile on my face as it reminded of the old days when I use to share a lot of centre fresh with her.
While waiting for her, I saw a card gallery nearby, went into that to buy something for her. But couldn’t find anything, which would be decent enough for me to give and her to accept hence, finally settled for a Birth stone beaded friendship band.
I was getting impatient and was eagerly looking in each passing by cabs, thinking this might be carrying her.
Ah! I caught her first glimpse after 6-7 months. She was looking extremely beautiful and lively. Her each step was bringing her near to me, making my breathing heavier and uneven.
Up on reaching me, she smiled with grace and placed forward her hand to greet. I could not move my eyes from her and shook hands while looking in to her eyes. we sat in a restaurant and chit chat on so many topics from our days of togetherness in a computer institute to the recent releases from bollywood.
